Makita’s new 40V Max XGT® combination hammer HR004G can deliver the power needed in heavy-duty work now and in the future. It can reach a BPM of 5000 while keeping the operator safe and satisfied with smart features and technologies, such as the quick-change chuck and Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT).

Cordless answer to high power demands

HR004G is the cordless answer to high power demands. It has an easy-to-access switch to alter between 3 modes: "Rotation Only", "Hammering with Rotation" and "Hammering Only". Its brushless motor and the new XGT® technology make it a genuine option for heavy-duty work. The machine delivers up to 5000 blows per minute (BPM) and its No Load Speed can reach 980 min⁻¹.

Redesigned balance and convenient features

The balance of the machine is redesigned, so the center of gravity is as close to the handle as possible. The machine can also be conveniently connected to the DX14 dust extractor system. It also has a quick-change chuck and a depth gauge for increased drilling consistency.

Smart technologies add safety and durability

Along with the new XGT® technology, which makes the machine more durable and smarter, HR004G has other technological advantages. Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) keeps the vibration at a safe level of 7.0 m/s² while minimizing operator fatigue. For improved dust and water resistance, the machine features eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT).
