CXT® 12V Max gives users a more compact solution with more comfort and more capacity.
The slide style lithium-ion batteries provide superior ergonomics and comfort, and allow go-to tools like the impact driver and drills to stand up on their own for added convenience.
Select 12V Max CXT® tools are equipped with efficient brushless motors for longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. For even longer run time, the expanding 12V Max CXT® platform includes an efficient 4,0 Ah battery.
Tool users who unplug the cord with Makita 18V LXT® experience new levels of convenience, efficiency and productivity. Makita created the 18V Lithium-Ion cordless tool category in 2005, and today it is the world’s largest 18V cordless tool line-up with over 225 products.
Makita’s leading technology gives tool users unmatched performance and breadth of line, with innovation in motor and battery technology that is obliterating industry standards – and leaving old thinking behind.
With high amp-hour batteries, efficient brushed and brushless motors, and 18V X2 LXT® (36V) technology, Makita 18V LXT® tools can exceed the performance of corded, all while remaining in a single cordless platform powered by the industry's fastest-charging 18V lithium-ion batteries.
With the new 40V Max XGT® series, Makita expands its range of high-quality cordless tools and continues to penetrate into areas that were previously reserved for AC-powered machines.
The Makita XGT® batteries are designed for applications with particularly high power requirements. The XGT® batteries deliver a maximum of 40V, i.e. twice as much as the 18V batteries of the LXT® platform.
Despite their similarity to the 18V LXT® batteries in shape and size, the XGT® batteries are a new system. The XGT® series complements the proven LXT® product range in a number of applications that require high performance, thus enabling unprecedented independence from stationary power sources.
Makita continues to invest heavily in the further development and expansion of the 18V LXT® series, which already includes more than 225 products in Europe for professional and private use. XGT® will not replace LXT®, but will be available as an additional option for the highest demands in construction, industry, horticulture and many other areas.
