XGT® - Next Generation Technology
XGT® – The Cordless Answer To High Demands
With the new 40V Max XGT® series, Makita expands its range of high-quality cordless tools and continues to penetrate into areas that were previously reserved for AC-powered machines.
The Makita XGT® batteries are designed for applications with particularly high power requirements. The XGT® batteries deliver a maximum of 40V, i.e. twice as much as the 18V batteries of the LXT® platform.
Despite their similarity to the 18V LXT® batteries in shape and size, the XGT® batteries are a new system. The XGT® series complements the proven LXT® product range in a number of applications that require high performance, thus enabling unprecedented independence from stationary power sources.
Makita continues to invest heavily in the further development and expansion of the 18V LXT® series, which already includes more than 225 products in Europe for professional and private use. XGT® will not replace LXT®, but will be available as an additional option for the highest demands in construction, industry, horticulture and many other areas.
