Makita’s unveils its new circular saw HS004G, which is powered by XGT® technology. This combined with the saw’s light weight and convenient features make it powerful, safe and easy to operate – a true next generation machine.

Powerful yet lightweight

HS004G has a brushless motor and its power source is the new XGT® battery. These factors combined with the machine’s light weight mean that it provides high power but it also is easy to operate. The saw can reach a No Load Speed of 6000 min⁻¹ and it has a max cutting capacity of 62,5 mm at a 90 degree angle.  

Precise and clean cutting

The machine’s soft start provides smooth start-ups. It is also compatible with a guide rail without an adapter, which makes sure the cutting is precise. Automatic torque Drive Technology (ADT) ensures that the cutting speed is optimal, while Auto-start Wireless Technology (AWS) connects the saw to compatible vacuum cleaners via Bluetooth for easy cleaning.

Great safety features

The saw has an electric brake, which makes operating it safe. Further adding to its safety is the lock-off safety switch. The machine can also be used in harsh conditions thanks to eXreme Protection Technology (XPT).
