Makita’s new angle grinder GA013G is equipped with XGT® technology, so it can match the power of 1000 W corded grinders. It is durable, safe and convenient to use thanks to its innovative design. The new battery technology reduces the charging time making it ideal even for industrial applications.

Delivers the same amount of power as corded grinders

GA013G has a brushless motor which delivers a No Load Speed of 8500 min⁻¹. This means that the angle grinder has the same amount of power as 1000 W corded grinders. The grinder’s speed of cutting groove is up 40% compared to its predecessor. The machine is also equipped with a paddle switch located in its easy-to-hold slim grip.

Added durability and safety

There is a large ball bearing that supports the machine’s motor making it highly durable. The new toolless wheel cover allows for fast angle adjustment. Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. For added safety, the machine features an electric brake.

Efficient working with reduced charge time

With the GA013G, you can get a lot of work done on a single full battery charge. The work amount is 7 m when cutting 20 mm deep while using a 4,0 Ah battery. The new XGT® batteries are also fast charging as they take as little as 28 minutes to charge.
